SPRINTER MOBILE KENNEL CONVERSION
ADVERC BATTERY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
SPRINTER INSTALLATION
DOG TRANSPORT
In June 2006 Ms. N. S. approached us for help. She was unable to obtain satisfactory cooling in her 2005 Sprinter Van, which she uses for transport of Border Collies. She raises and delivers them all over the country. It is important that the dogs stay comfortable, so she had added a THERMO KING 12V auxiliary air conditioner. The cooling systems are only engaged when the vehicle engine is running. The charging system powered by a 150 amp Bosch Alternator. I promised her that the ADVERC System would solve her problem and we met in Marietta, GA. Sound Sensations, a company that has been in business for more than 30 years specializing in auto audio, video and safety systems, would install the ADVERC System. They were just awarded as the top 50 retailers in the country. Do visit their web site Sound-Sensations.com and you will see that these people know their business.
Upon inspecting her van, the start battery was down to 12.2v., just barely able to start the engine. The Thermo King roof air conditioner was no longer running. The van’s own A/C system blowers were very weak and did not deliver much in the way of cooling. All these symptoms are typical of an electrical system that cannot maintain full voltage. Low voltage conditions often lead to failure of electrical motors, and most probably that caused the failure of the Thermo King air conditioner. The temperature level needed for the Border Colliers could simply not be maintained.
Ms. S. was very lucky in two respects, she had come upon the ADVERC System, the only availably solution to her problem, and there were still a few days available in the Thermo King warranty. With the ADVERC installed, the Thermo King repaired and an extra auxiliary battery installed to buffer the Thermo King 12v A/C everything worked, as it should, including all extra fans she used. As usual with our private customers we knew everything was OK, since we did not hear from her. Our customers quickly adapt themselves to our motto: “Install it and forget it”.
About a year later, in the month of August, I received a call from Keith Gantt of Sound Sensations. Ms. S. had brought in the van, concerned about the voltage out put being too low. Keith Gatt, inspected the entire system. The start battery had recovered to 12.7 volt and the auxiliary battery was at 12.8 volt – 100%. It just does not get any better than that. The output voltage was indeed low, but as Keith explained, the ADVERC System lowers the voltage output in extreme heat to PROTECT the batteries. Keith Gantt can be reached at 770-429-1600.
Reassured Ms. S. headed out west and for many more years of flawless performance of the ADVERC System.

ADVERC voltage control of the alternator and
battery sensing, results in 100% state of charge compared with 60%-70%
using standard regulation, at a faster rate of charge and safely.
By cycling the battery voltages above and
below the gassing point of the battery, to an established program
developed over 12 years, and by compensating for ambient temperature
variations around the batteries.
ADVERC is a controller not a booster.
